Describing Collections - Workshop Series: Creating Access Through Archival Collections

In this introductory course, offered by the Northern NY Library Network, you will learn how to write standardized archival descriptions to facilitate the care and use of your collections, aligned with Describing Archives: a Content Standard (DACS) - guidelines for standardized archival description.

This educational series is free and available to all. A YouTube playlist of pre-workshop videos is available at all times. The course is offered with a hands-on live workshop component on a regular basis (watch Northern NY Library Network communications or reach out to Katelyn for offerings).
